191106-N-EA818-0060 ROCKINGHAM, Australia (Nov. 06, 2019) Sailors assigned to Submarine Squadron 11’s Undersea Rescue Command observe the Royal Australian Navy submarine rescue vehicle (LR5) aboard the rescue gear ship MV Stoker during a mass evacuation drill in part of Exercise Pacific Reach (PACREACH). PACREACH is a triennial, multi-lateral submarine rescue exercise aimed to demonstrate regional Submarine Abandonment and Escape Rescue (SAER) capabilities by conducting a simulated submarine rescue missions utilizing the Submarine Rescue Diving Recompression System (SRDRS) and Pressurized Rescue Module (PRM).
