The 53rd Test Support Squadron special devices flight participated in an immersion tour for members assigned to the 325th Fighter Wing on Nov. 8, 2019, at Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida. Airmen visited multiple units of the 53rd Weapons Evaluation Group during the tour, including the metal fabrication shop. The airmen watched as a part was welded by TDY personnel for an aircraft participating in the Weapons System Evaluation Program and Checkered Flag 20-1 exercise on Tyndall's flight line demonstrating the unit's joint partnership with Tyndall, ensuring Airmen are trained and equipment is tested, to support the warfighter.
