Canton, Ga., native Cpl. Jaqueline Veres, a motor transport operator with 2nd Marine Division, spent her day touring ships with Girl Scouts. Various troop members from the Girl Scouts of Greater New York spent time with female service members aboard the USCGC Eagle and the USS Wasp docked at pier 92 in Manhattan, N.Y. While at the pier, the girl scouts and service members took tours of the ships and interacted with each other. The service members talked with the girls and answered questions they had regarding military careers and what it is like to be a female service member.
