A hand waves from inside a UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter during the orientation flight for Gold Star families organized as part of the events surrounding the Fallen Heroes remembrance ceremony at the Kankakee Army Aviation Support Facility, Kankakee, Illinois, Nov. 3. Gold Star families were invited aboard helicopters of Company B, 106th Aviation Regiment based at the Kankaee AASF, families were also invited to a facility tour, and a chance to explore aviation static displays following the Fallen Heroes ceremony.
