A U.S. Marine CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter carries Marines with Basic Reconnaissance Course out to the drop zone to conduct a helocasting training in San Diego Bay, California, Oct. 29, 2019. BRC is one of the many courses taught by the staff at Reconnaissance Training Company, Advanced Infantry Training Battalion, School of Infantry - West. The course provides students with the basic knowledge of reconnaissance doctrine, concepts, and techniques with emphasis on amphibious entry and extraction, beach reconnaissance and reconnaissance patrolling skills.
