WASHINGTON (October 28, 2019) Chief Petty Officer Hubert Bince shakes hands with U.S. Marine Corps veteran Private First Class Willie J. Wood prior to a special advance screening of the upcoming film “Midway” held at the U.S. Navy Memorial. Woods served at Camp Montford, Jacksonville, N.C., from 1945 to 1946 and was awarded the Congressional Gold Medal in 2012. “Midway” is based on the events following the attack on Pearl Harbor and what led to the Battle of Midway during World War II.
