Retired Chief Master Sgt. Kevin O’Gorman is inducted to the Texas Military Department’s Hall of Honor at a ceremony at Camp Mabry in Austin, Texas, Oct. 27, 2019. O’Gorman served more than 37 years in the United States Air Force and the Texas Air National Guard. O’ Gorman facilitated the joining of the Texas domestic operations under one command, which resulted in creating efficiencies to support the Texas Governor, state agencies and communities during multiple hazardous responses. O’Gorman was also key in assisting the creation of Air Guardsmen for Operation Strong Safety, a $34 million, 1,000-plus troop state deployment to the Texas border. (U.S. Army photo by Spc.
