191021-N-PP451-2001 SANTA RITA, Guam (Oct. 21, 2019) Construction Mechanic 3rd Class Roman Bohart and Chief Equipment Operator Jared Perry, both deployed with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5’s Detail Guam, perform turnover procedures on the Asphalt Batch Plant. The Batch Plant will support Naval Construction Force initiatives, ultimately improving military readiness and capability. NMCB-5 is deployed across the Indo-Pacific region conducting high-quality construction to support U.S. and partner nations to strengthen partnerships, deter aggression, and enable expeditionary logistics and naval power projection.
