    JAMES RIVER, Va. (Oct. 25, 2019) The aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78) sails through the James River as it gets underway from Huntington Ingalls Industries-Newport News Shipbuilding. The ship returned to sea for the first time since beginning its post-shakedown availability in July 2018 to conduct sea trials.
