Devastator is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of Operation Sentinel, a multinational maritime effort to promote maritime security, ensure freedom of navigation and free flow of commerce throughout key waterways in the Arabian Gulf, Strait of Hormuz, the Bab el-Mandeb Strait and the Gulf of Oman.
