Cori Wegener, Director of the Smithsonian Cultural Rescue Initiative shows some World War II archival photos Monday. Oct. 21, 2019 at the Smithsonian Archives of American Art in Washington, D.C. The U.S. Army Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations Command (Airborne) and the Smithsonian signed an agreement to train and support U.S. military personnel working to protect cultural property during armed conflict.
