Capt. John Howard, commander of Detachment 2, Company C, 3rd Battalion, 238th Aviation Regiment (General Support Aviation Battalion), speaks at a call to duty ceremony for himself and about 30 of his Soldiers Oct. 17, 2019, at the MAPS Air Museum in North Canton, Ohio. “I’m very proud of this unit,” Howard said. “We stood up three years ago, and these Soldiers and their families have already sacrificed in many ways to get prepared for this moment.
