    TAPS runs for survivors at Fargo Marathon

    Retired Maj. Gen. Michael Haugen, a past North Dakota adjutant general, runs the Fargo Marathon 5K, May 18, Fargo, N.D. He is running on the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) Run and Remember Team in memory of North Dakota Army National Guard soldiers who gave their lives while in service to the United States military and also to raise money for TAPS programs that aid their survivors. Haugen finished second in his age group for the 5K and ran the 10K the following day.
