Pallets of 5.56mm ball and 9mm ammunition are staged in a C-17 Globemaster III for disembarkation during the first-ever transaction between U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Pacific and the Royal Brunei Armed Forces at Brunei International Airport, Oct. 4, 2019. U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Pacific, in coordination with the U.S. Embassy Brunei, conducted a $1.9 million sale of ammunition, made possible by the ten-year Acquisition and Cross-Serving Agreement (ACSA) between Brunei and the United States. ACSA allows the U.S. armed forces to conduct the military-to-military exchange of logistics and supply services with Brunei and enhances interoperability between the two militaries.
