SAN FRANCISCO (Oct. 13, 2019) – Lt. Cmdr. Roger Dmochowski, assigned to the “Scorpions” of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron 49, a native of Rochester, N.Y., speaks with ship tour participants on the flight deck of the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock ship USS Somerset (LPD 25) during San Francisco Fleet Week (SFFW). SFFW provides an opportunity for the Marine Corps and Navy to demonstrate the quality of personnel to the citizens of San Francisco and surrounding areas. Through fleet weeks, the military gains the opportunity to educate area leaders and the general public about the Marine Corps and Navy.
