A local contractor supporting the 838th Transportation Battalion, longshoreman Ruud Kouwer, attaches the lift chains to an M1A2 Abrams tank as it is prepared for lowering into a low-barge ship for movement across Europe Oct. 12, 2019, at the Port of Vlissingen, Netherlands.
