191008-N-DH811-1046 EAST CHINA SEA (Oct. 8, 2019) Seaman Spenser Sweet, from Butte, Mont., mans the helm on the bridge of the Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Lake Erie (CG 70). Lake Erie is underway conducting operations in the Indo-Pacific region while assigned to Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy's largest forward-deployed DESRON and the U.S. 7th Fleet's principal surface force.
