The Fort Bliss Army Ten-Miler Team, composed of enlisted Soldiers and officers from units across Fort Bliss and 1st Armored Division, pose in front of Costello Hall, the 1AD headquarters, October 4. The team will compete in the Army Ten-Miler on October 13 in Washington, D.C., along with more than 35,000 other participants and 900 teams competing and racing in an effort to support Army outreach, build morale and promote physical fitness. The Army Ten-Miler was first held in 1985 and has fielded more than 400,000 participants since its inception, raising more than $7 million for Army Morale, Welfare, and Recreation.
