Sgt. 1st Class Gryphon Dickerson-Houilles, Michigan National Guard, instructor/writer with the Strength Maintenance Training Center at the National Guard Professional Education Center, Camp Robinson, North Little Rock, Arkansas received a Letter of Appreciation from the North Little Rock Fire Department for his actions in assisting a motorist in need and preventing serious injury or death after her vehicle caught fire while driving. Wyatt Conner, Cabot, Arkansas, also received a Letter of Appreciation for his actions during the incident. The awards were presented by John Pflasterer, fire marshal and battalion chief, North Little Rock Fire Department during the This Morning Show on THV11, CBS in Little Rock, Arkansas. The show host Laura Monteverdi, morning anchor, THV11 CBS, coordinated the live awards presentation, October 4, 2019.
