Students of Officer Candidate School (OCS) class 02-20 complete the Damage Control Wet Training and stand by for the after action report at Officer Training Command (OTCN) in Newport, Rhode Island, on Oct. 3, 2019. The wet trainer, better known as the “BUTTERCUP, rests in 5 foot deep pool on the starboard side and 8 feet on the port side, allowing the trainer to take a sharp list during training. OCS develops civilians and fleet Sailors into newly commissioned officers morally, mentally, physically and imbue them with the highest ideals of honor, courage and commitment in order to prepare graduates for service in the fleet as Naval officers.
