PELELIU, Republic of Palau – U.S. Marine Sgt. Joshua Malone with the 1st Marine Division Band warms up during the Palau Independence Day boat race, Sept. 28, 2019. The race is an annual event, held around Palau’s Independence Day that consists of speed boats racing under the Japan-Palau Friendship Bridge with spectators lining both sides.
