SOUTH CHINA SEA (Oct. 1, 2019) Damage Controlman 2nd Class Michael Solferino, top, from Reno, Nev., relays a message to Aviation Support Equipment Technician Airman Mikel Soto, from Garden Grove, Calif., both assigned to amphibious assault ship USS Boxer (LHD 4), during an in port emergency team drill through a hatch on the starboard side of the hangar bay. The Boxer Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) and 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) are deployed to the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations to support regional stability, reassure partners and allies, and maintain a presence to respond to any crisis ranging from humanitarian assistance to contingency operations.
