JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Sept. 26, 2019) Patrol Squadron (VP) 30 training officer Lt. Cmdr. The group engaged in a discussion with VP-30 staff and Norwegian P-8A students during the visit. The Royal Norwegian Air Force is preparing for its transition from the P-3C Orion aircraft to the P-8A Poseidon. The U.S. maintains a long and close relationship with Norway on defense and security cooperation. Military personnel exchange programs such as the Poseidon training Norwegian pilots and crew receive here strengthen this partnership.
