190926-M-MI961-1107 ANDAMAN SEA (Sept. 26, 2019) U.S. Marines with Combat Logistics Battalion 11, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), externally lift an AV-8B Harrier Rolls-Royce Pegasus engine with a CH-53E Super Stallion attached to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 163 (Reinforced), 11th MEU, aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Boxer (LHD 4). The Marines and Sailors of the 11th MEU are deployed to the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations to support regional stability, reassure partners and allies, and maintain a presence postured to respond to any crisis ranging from humanitarian assistance to contingency operations.
