A Coast Guard MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew is shown hovering near the sailboat Missfit, which became disabled approximately 35 miles west of Klamath, California, Sept. 25, 2019. The crew was on a journey from Washington to San Francisco when the Missfit’s captain called Coast Guard Sector Humboldt Bay watchstanders stating the vessel had lost propulsion in 35-knot winds and up to 20-foot seas and were requesting assistance.
