YOKOSUKA, Japan (Sep 25, 2019) – Members of Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY) Multicultural Committee gather for a group photo during their observance of contributions of American military members from Latin American countries during Hispanic Heritage Month ceremony at the CFAY Chapel of Hope Fellowship Hall on Sept. 25. The committee displayed presentations on the countries of: Mexico, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Honduras, Peru, Colombia, and offered a variety of flavorful, street-food dishes, highlighting the significance of Hispanic customs. CFAY provides, maintains, and operates base facilities and services in support of the U.S. 7th Fleet's forward-deployed naval forces, 71 tenant commands, and more than 27,000 military and civilian personnel and their families.
