Thirty-six ruckers finish a two day Air Advisor Memorial Ruck March which departed from New York City, April 26, and arrived here, April 27. Nine members of the NATO Air Training Command-Afghanistan were killed in action, April 27, 2011, while serving as advisors and mentors to the people of Afghanistan. In honor of the one year anniversary, and of the ultimate sacrifices these individuals made for their country, nine paver stones -- each inscribed with the name of one of the fallen " NATC-A Nine" -- were carried on foot, via traditional military "ruck," from the National Sept. 11 Memorial for a distance of 75 miles.
