Coast Guard, Army Corps of Engineers salvage tug Diane [Image 4 of 7]
A steel wall is temporarily put in place near mile-marker 143 on the Columbia River and downriver of the Bonneville Dam, Sept. 14, 2019, in preparation for salvaging the 45-foot recreational tug Diane. The temporary wall was put in place to slow down a 5 MPH river current and create a safer diving environment for salvage operations. (U.S. Coast Guard photo by Chief Petty Officer Russell Nichols)
