Ms. Mildred Colon-Moreno welcomed guests to Hispanic Heritage Month Observance at Clay National Guard Center, Marietta, Georgia on Sept. 18, 2019. The observance began in 1968 under President Lyndon Johnson and eventually became a 30-day observance in 1988, for the countless contributions that Hispanic-Americans contribute to the United States and the world.
