SEWARD, Alaska (September 17, 2019) – Secretary of the Navy (SECNAV) Richard V. Spencer poses for a photo with Operations Specialist 2nd Class Sabryna Cmehil, assigned to the amphibious dock landing ship USS Comstock (LSD 45), following a tour as part of Arctic Expeditionary Capabilities Exercise (AECE) 2019. Approximately 3,000 U.S. Navy and Marine Corps personnel participate in AECE 2019, a joint training exercise that tests expeditionary logistical capabilities in the Arctic region and prepares joint forces to respond to crises across the Indo-Pacific.
