Officer Candidate School (OCS) class 01-20 trains on the Conning Officer Virtual Environment (COVE) at Officer Training Command in Newport, Rhode Island (OTCN) on Sept. 17, 2019. This training familiarizes students with the use of radar equipment through scenarios. OCS develops civilians and fleet Sailors into newly commissioned offers morally, mentally, physically and imbue them with the highest ideals of honor, courage and commitment in order to prepare graduates for service in the fleet as Naval officers.
