Lt. Gen. John F. Thompson, Space and Missile Systems Center commander and Air Force program executive officer for Space, represents SMC in receiving an award presented by Mr. Bob Baird, the Director of Fire and Aviation Management from the Pacific Southwest Region of the United States Forest Service. The presentation recognizes the hard work by men and women of the SMC with their support to the U.S. Forest Service in providing timely data to support the 2018 fire season, taken place in the Daedalian room, Los Angeles Air Force base, El Segundo, Calif., July 29, 2019.
