Ross Coffman, director of the Next Generation Combat Vehicle Cross Functional Team at Detroit Arsenal in Warren, Michigan, talks about the requirements of the battlefield and the technologies set to shape the Army’s combat vehicles over the next 20 years, during the 2019 Maneuver Warfighter Conference here Sept. 11 at McGinnis-Wickam Hall. An annual event hosted by Fort Benning’s Maneuver Center of Excellence, the conference gathers senior leaders and subject matter experts from across the Army, sister services and from partner nations’ militaries to discuss issues relevant to the Army’s maneuver force.
