Senior army leaders from across the Indo-Pacific discuss topics such as border security, humanitarian assistance, multi-layered communication, and collaboration of land forces, during a combined plenary session, Sept. 9 – 11, 2019, in Bangkok, Thailand. The plenary session was part of the 11th Indo-Pacific Armies Chiefs Conference (IPACC XI), the 43rd Pacific Armies Management Seminar (IPAMS XLIII), and the 5th Senior Enlisted Leaders Forum (SELF V).

IPACC/IPAMS/SELF are a series of Department of the Army and U.S. Army Pacific forums to build interpersonal relationships, foster multilateralism, dialogue, and cooperation for regional approaches to contemporary security challenges in the Indo-Pacific.
