FORT BENNING, Ga. – Col. Bill Venable, the Stryker Brigade Combat Team Project Manager, discusses the future of the Army’s Stryker brigade combat teams during the opening day of the three-day 2019 Maneuver Warfighter Conference Sept. 10. The conference, hosted by Fort Benning’s Maneuver Center of Excellence, runs through Sept. 12 and brings together military experts for discussion of key issues related to the nation’s maneuver force. Stryker vehicles are eight-wheeled armored vehicles that are designed for a variety of roles in combat.
