Ret. Army Sgt. Ilija Zafiroski, a native of East Brunswick, N.J., cries out in joy over the U.S. Army sitting volleyball teams victory over the Marines during the 2012 Warrior Games at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo., on May 4,2012. Zafiroski fired the game-winning shot that won the third set in the match, earning the Army team a gold medal. The Warrior Games features 50 disabled, wounded or ill soldiers and veterans competing against the Marines, Navy, Coast Guard, Air Force and Special Operations Command for gold in seven sporting events and for the Chairman's Cup, an award presented to the top performing service branch.
