190907-A-FJ530-328 OYANOHARA TRAINING AREA, Japan (Sept. 7, 2019)
U.S. Army Soldiers of 2nd Squadron, 106th Cavalry Regiment, 33rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team and members of the 16th Infantry Regiment, Japan Ground Self-Defense Force conduct a bilateral commanders update brief at Oyanohara Training Area, Sept. 7. The units are participating in Orient Shield 2019 as part of the U.S. Army’s Multi Domain Task Force and JGSDF Cross-Domain Operations Task Force. Orient Shield focuses on the development and refinement of the JGSDF and U.S. Army's efforts in the areas of bilateral planning, coordination, and interoperability through training at the battalion level.
