The brightly colored explosion of an M58 Mine Clearing Line Charge was a highlight of the culminating live-fire demonstration featuring the armed forces of Jordan, United States, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and United Kingdom during Eager Lion 2019 in Jordan, Sept. 5, 2019. This multinational exercise is U.S. Central Command’s premiere exercise in the Levant region and is a major training event that provides U.S. forces, Jordan Armed Forces and 28 other participating nations the opportunity to improve their collective ability to plan and operate in a coalition-type environment.
