First Lieutenant Philip Tanner refines his concept-of-operations brief in the operations center at the State Logistics Response Center in Orlando, Florida. He normally serves as deputy logistics chief with Homestead’s 930th Digital Liaison Detachment. During the Florida National Guard’s activation in support of Hurricane Dorian response operations, his duties have largely focused on training soldiers to serve as logistical support teams (LSTs) who account for food, water and other supplies delivered to the field.
