Winter Cruz as she scans identification cards for soldiers of the 92nd Engineer Battalion from Fort Stewart, Georgia, upon their arrival at Camp Blanding Joint Training Center, Florida to assist with Hurricane Dorian operations. Griffin and Cruz, both of the 256th Area Support Medical Company based in Camp Blanding, participated in the joint reception, staging, onward movement and integration brief provided to the 92nd soldiers. The arrival of this active duty unit highlights the importance of the partnership between the active duty component and the National Guard during humanitarian and disaster relief operations.
