U.S. Marines with 1st Battalion, 11th Marines, showcase the capabilities of the M777 Howitzers to Los Angeles during Los Angeles Fleet Week 2019 on Aug. 31, 2019. Fleet Week Provides an opportunity for the Marine Corps and Navy to demonstrate the quality of personnel to the civilian counterparts. Static displays give the Marine Corps the opportunity to show the Navy-Marine Corps relationship with the American people and to showcase the ability to serve as an expeditionary force in readiness.
