(August 26, 2019) Surface Warfare Officers School Unit Great Lakes Basic Engineering Common Core student Fireman Recruit Brandon Perera ensures the riser valve in the low pressure air system is closed prior to operation in the Cold Iron Systems Alignment Lab at the Cold Iron Trainer. Students must check that the system is within normal non-operative parameters according with the Engineering Operating Procedures before turning it on and yielding unpredictable results.
