Flora, the U.S. Army Africa deputy commanding general, visits the casualty evacuation training site for “hot load” medical evacuation training at the Gabiro Combat Training Center in Rwanda, Aug. 25, 2019, during Shared Accord 2019. SA19, sponsored by U.S. Africa Command and executed by U.S. Army Africa, trains participants on U.S., United Nations and African Union mandated peacekeeping operations by replicating real-world scenarios from the U.N. Mission in the Central African Republic, Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA).
