U.S. Army Task Force Explosive Ordnance Disposal team members prepare an explosive remnant of war for detonation at a demolition site in Pristina, Kosovo, Aug. 15, 2019. The explosive remnants of war used in the demolition training exercise were items Kosovo Security Forces collected on previous missions and kept in a storage facility. Over time, some of the older items can become more dangerous. The joint demolition exercise serves to reduce the amount of explosive items that are stored. KFOR’s mission priorities are freedom of movement and providing a safe and secure environment for the people of Kosovo. (U.S. Army photo by Spc. Lynnwood Thomas, 40th Public Affairs Detachment)
