SAN DIEGO - Sailors and a civilian assigned to Naval Medical Center San Diego’s (NMCSD) new, centralized immunization clinic pose for a photo after the ribbon cutting ceremony Aug. 26. NMCSD delivers approximately 250,000 vaccinations per year through the immunization program. NMCSD’s mission is to prepare to deploy in support of operational forces, deliver quality healthcare services, and share the future of military medicine through education, training and research. NMCSD employs more than 6,000 active duty military personnel, civilians and contractors in the San Diego region to provide patients with world-class care anytime, anywhere.
