A crew with the Medical Evacuation Platoon in the U.S. Army Reserve’s 5th Battalion, 159th Aviation Regiment, Task Force Javelin depart with a simulated casualty as part of medevac training Aug. 24, 2019, in Jordan during preparations for exercise Eager Lion 19. This multinational exercise is U.S. Central Command’s premiere exercise in the Levant region and is a major training event that provides U.S. forces, Jordan Armed Forces and 28 other participating nations the opportunity to improve their collective ability to plan and operate in a coalition-type environment.
