190822-N-SS350-1003 ARABIAN SEA (Aug 22, 2019) Aviation Structural Mechanic Airman Danny Alano, assigned to the “Grandmasters” of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 46, inserts a hose into an airbrush to paint aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS Bainbridge (DDG 96). Bainbridge is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and Pacific through the Western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points.
