Drill Sgt. Cesar Silva calls out cadence and marching commands during the Echo Company, 266th QM Battalion formal drill performance Aug. 17 in Williams Stadium at Fort Lee, Va. To achieve top scores, teams had to correctly complete 50 marching maneuvers within a five-minute time limit and without any members going outside of the “drill box” measuring roughly 75 feet in length and depth. All teams that competed were winners at battalion-level competitions held over the past few months.
