In a town hall meeting hosted by the Steel Brigade, Ingram spoke to more than 300 guardsmen about the sacrifices of guardsmen who rushed to the aid of Americans during the devastating tornadoes that struck Joplin, Mo., in May 2011, and guardsmen who gave their lives to protect innocent civilians and fellow comrades in Iraq and Afghanistan. “Your service and professionalism has been monumental to our nation,” Ingram said.
