FORT BLISS, Texas -- Sgt. John Sis, an infantryman assigned to 4th Battalion, 70th Armor Regiment, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division and a native of Annapolis, Maryland, fires an M4 carbine at a target during the Iron Sniper 2019 competition August 14, at Dona Ana Range Complex, New Mexico. Sis, a part of the winning team, will further go on to compete next April, representing 1AD at the International Sniper Competition in Fort Benning, Georgia. (U.S. Army photo by Spc. Matthew J.
